I stayed at the Student Beehive in my second year at Loughborough University, a friend of mine also got the room next me - result! I had an amazing time, the rooms are spacious I made the Mezzanine area into my own little room in my room. There was a great community feel and we often had movie nights in the common area on the floor. It is at the centre of town & the university which was amazing both a 5-10 minute away. Definitely recommend!

This is hands down the worst accommodation I have ever come across in my life, student or otherwise. I lived here from September 2016 to March 2017. I moved out before the Easter holidays because things had gotten progressively worse during my time living here. The day after I moved in I reported that my shower was not working properly. This was not fixed until December. The ceiling was stained with watermarks and had a large crack running through it. The "weekly" cleaners stopped showing up after the Christmas holidays, despite this being a service included in our rent. Our post was stolen by management, and it was only after chasing the managers and demanding they sift through BOXES of tenants' post that they had collected did we get any of our mail back. A few tenants had even missed failed delivery slips for parcels, which were in turn sent back to Royal Mail and we were required to pay for re-delivery due to this issue. The contracts were all different with conflicting information about deposits etc. But the worst issue encountered by far was that of another tenant, who - at this date - has another 3 weeks in his tenancy agreement, went back to his room this morning to find that management had cleared his room of anything he had left there AND THROWN IT INTO THE WHEELIE BINS. This tenant's CLOTHES and POSSESSIONS were thrown away by management because they forgot he still lived there. DO NOT LIVE AT RADMOOR HOUSE.

I’ve stayed at Radmoor House for the last three years, and I have to say that I’ve really enjoyed the experience. The room is well-priced and is conveniently located between town and the University. I can’t speak for what the management was like before, but I’ve had a very positive experience. The accommodation managers are extremely supportive and understanding about individual circumstances and repairs are carried out promptly. The new management have also sought to improve the social offerings, such as having a Christmas party at a pub in town that was open to all residents. Special shoutout to Agata and Michalina for being truly wonderful.

Where to start with Radmoor, or rather Student Beehive in general. There are only two reasons to stay in Radmoor, the rooms are well sized and the location is ideal, on the edge of campus but still 5 min walk from Sainsburys. That's it. Student Beehive have to be one of the worst companies to deal with. Put simply, they don't really care about you as a tenant of theirs. There is never anyone around to help either by email or on-site, even though there is supposed to be someone in the on-site office 9am-4:30pm weekdays. When you have a problem or when something in your room breaks, then you'll have to email them 3 or 4 times before getting a response a week later. This doesn't help when the building is falling apart every couple of weeks. During winter our oven broke and it took a month before someone came in to fix it, only for it to break again a couple of weeks later. The rooms are cheaply put together and the kitchen is always a complete mess where nothing is maintained or cleaned. There are supposed to be cleaners for the kitchen every week but more often than not they don't turn-up. The kitchen hadn't been cleaned since the previous years' tenants had moved out, meaning everything was still dirty and the cupboards were all filled with old food. You can't have any post or parcels delivered there as there isn't anyone around to receive a parcel, and post gets lost in the massive pile that accumulates at the door and can be taken by anyone who walks in the building. I lived there during 2016/17 and I have only just received my room bond back (Dec 17) after constantly sending them emails. Would strongly recommend against living here. P.S. Student Beehive bribe residents into leaving positive reviews on Google by giving chocolates/alcohol to their favourite ones. So don't believe every 5 star review here without them giving good reason

The location is great, just in the middle between the town and the Uni, the radmoor road is really quiet and provide a good environment for study and relax. The facility in the house is really new, and clean as well. There are cleaning teams to help us clean the public area once a week to make sure everywhere is tidy and cosy. Also the maintenance teams are really helpful, once you got some problems with the facilities, just email them and they will send someone come and have a look the other day. And other good thing is that we don't need to worried about our delivery, people in the office will help us collect it and deliver just in front of our door. (massive Thank you!!!) Also I love the kitchen with TV and washing machine (save a lot of money on laundry), however, if there is a dryer provided that will be FAB!! Thanks again for everyone work for Radmoor House and make me feel like home here xxx
