Very close to the town centre, great showers and kitchen space. The reception is very pleasant and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great halls, really nice and helpful staff. Conveniently in the middle of town, and 15 mins walk to uni. Definitely recommend!

DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMMODATION. The room is not cleaned at all when you move in and maintenance is not carried out regardless of how many times you remind them or fill out a form. The management is incompetent and complaints of any form will not be properly dealt with. I made several complaints about an issue for 6 months and was sent around by different management within the company even up to the company CEO, and the problem was never resolved. The reception team is also useless, the office is not open at set hours, many times you will go past and it is closed. Also do not trust any positive reviews written here as a 10 incentive has been offered to tenants to write positive reviews as they know they would not receive any otherwise. During the coronavirus pandemic, instead of offering a discount on rent or offering support and resources for tenants, they still demanded rent to be paid as previously scheduled. Emails were sent telling students they could get 100 off if they rebook for the next year whilst not offering any advice to current tenants. The reception was also closed during the pandemic with no information how to collect parcels or to move out of the accommodation. This company only wants your money they have no care for their tenants.

Worst accommodation you could possibly live in. The lift was broken for months and I lived on the top floor. Due to disputes between cloud student management and another company they removed our access to the internet for about a week. Maintenance issues can go on for months without being resolved. My tenancy ended in July and I have still mot received my deposit after 3 months! I have called several times regarding my deposit but I cannot get through to anyone.

I lived here when the place was newly built. I encountered many issues even though I was the first person to live in the room and it was a new build. I had to call locksmiths over because my door had locked itself, and he told me the building was cheaply built by 'cowboy builders'. The ceiling in my block corridor leaked and nothing was ever done besides putting a bucket there, the door to our flat also ripped off. Management has always been terrible & miserable besides the student 24/7 staff. It seems like new management are even worse, I tried to request details for a room for this year and was horrified at the increase in prices for a tiny room, tiny desk, faulty building and management. But also the lack of regard for students trying to navigate in a pandemic. They genuinely only care about money and not the students, problems are never solved.

If you want water leaks every 2 weeks, power cuts, poor and sometimes even no wifi and no help from staff then go ahead and choose this accommodation. Firstly, all the positive reviews which have been posted from the 05/06/2020 onwards are inaccurate as cloud student homes have offered 10 to any student who writes a positive review (I will post the email below). This is incredibly unprofessional of them, and not only that Cloud Student Homes have not helped students AT ALL during this pandemic which we are currently going through. Instead of giving out 10 for positive reviews, why not help us students out and take money off our rent as we are not living in the accommodation. Secondly there are problems with this accommodation almost every week. If you have a leak they will take literally 3 months to come and fix it. Any problem you have they will take the longest time to rectify it. A couple months ago the WIFI went out for more than a week, which is a massive inconvenience for students as they have deadlines to adhere to. And Cloud Student Homes had the AUDACITY to offer only 13.65 for compensation. 13.65????? Also, the rooms are not cleaned properly when you move in, the cleaners are lazy and do not ‘deep clean’ the rooms. When I moved in there was hair underneath my bed and stains on the carpet. Overall, this accommodation is the worst accommodation in Loughborough. Do not be fooled of the nice pictures on the website. I do not recommend living here at all.

I lived at foundry 2 for 2 semesters during my time at university in Loughborough. I lived in a 2 bed apartment with one of my friends which was nice since it was quite peaceful. The rooms themselves had a nice layout with spcaious bathrooms and a lot of storage space. THe kitchen included a large sofa and a tv for entertainment. Overall the maintenance and friendliness of the staff made me enjoy my stay.

Absolutely horrible, water leaks down from ceilings and all they do is place a bucket down till it stops. The building has poor signal and the wifi cuts out, with no alternative. They charge you for washing machines and driers that do not fully function. It also takes months to get any maintenance support. Opt for an alternative accommodation that takes into consideration that the tenants are actually students.
