Ventured off the M1 looking for somewhere for a spot of lunch and a quick Google search came up with this place. Booked on the website for 15 minutes, arrived, were sat to a table and food arrived no more than 5-6 minutes. Friendly, welcoming service and the trio of meats we had was absolutely outstanding. Best roast we'd had in a long time. Highly recommend and we'll be back when next in the area.

The Horse really is a fabulous place. The food is gorgeous, as good as any gastro pub I have ever visited. Their pizzas are really great, baked in their own wood-fired pizza oven. The real ale they sell is kept beautifully and a pleasure to drink. This is all topped off by very friendly and professional service in really cosy, high quality surroundings. If that's not enough, they also offer bed and breakfast in their very nicely appointed rooms.

Amazing food and lovely service. Really nice friendly staff and they cater well for vegans too with a few main options available once requested. Recommended to my friends and family and will be returning!

Good food, friendly prompt service. PLEASE move the HUGE floor to ceiling sign in lurid colours telling me how to avoid covid that was 2 foot from my table. Extremely off-putting and unless you are a complete imbecile not telling anyone anything new.

Excellent very well presented pub food with a gastronomic twist. We were a party of five and we were well cared for. I am gluten free/coeliac and they were informed of my dietary needs and cooked/checked for ingredients on every item. They were considerate, careful and good hosts.
