We love this place, and was really pleased to see the efforts made during the opening between lockdowns. A lot of places still just spat on a rag and wiped the surfaces, but everything here was done as it should be, with the proper chemical bottles, seats cleaned as well as the tables, a really thorough job. Gives you confidence about what's going on out the back. Can't wait to go again once we're allowed back out

decent pub & good ale. Food quality generally alright with occasional exceptions & some nice surprises. Cosy indoors and nice location for outdoor seating in good weather.
Always fab food and service, only issue is that more often than not we have to wait up to ten minutes at the door to be seated, even when booking. Otherwise all great and the brownies served with the hot drinks are my fave!
Had a lunch for 4 today, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were great, it was our first meal out since pre covid. We felt we were looked after it was well set up for the current covid situation.
My Mum and I went here for lunch, on a weekday, after having walked the dog at Outwoods. Had such a brilliant experience. Their COVID safety precautions and one way systems were fantastic and with really clear guidance from staff, the service was excellent and our lunch was so tasty. We had the buttermilk chicken burger and would highly recommend. Sat outside as it was lovely weather. Great all round!
