Really nice little gem in Loughborough. Has a great classic French feel to the place. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was great and the price was fair. Will definitely go back.

Had a really lovely early meet up with work colleagues on Friday. We were made so welcome, my friends were so impressed with the place and food. Would recommend any time. Thanks to the staff so nice...Returning will be a definite.
Everything is homemade, which is a rarity! The decor is great, as you can see from their virtual tour and the staff are friendly too. I had the chicken Kiev. The pea purée was amazing. Definitely recommended. Thanks guys
Very friendly. Thank you for making us welcome. Its like being part of a family. The food is good are willing to do variations of the menu if possible. Will most definately go to eat there again. Looking forward to trying the events nights.
We spent a fabulous evening here a few weeks ago with our friends and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The food was amazing! We dined early evening on a Saturday and was very impressed with the staff that waited on us! The food was piping hot and we never had to wait for drinks as the lovely young lady made sure our glasses were always full! It's very nicely decorated and the furnishings you can tell are of a very high standard, all in all the place was very impressive and we are certainly planning a return visit. My wife was particularly impressed with the cocktail menu and made sure she tried a wide range of the ones on offer! The Bistro seems competitively priced and it's nice to see a business thriving in Loughborough that doesn't just sell fast food! Good luck to the owners for the future and we can't wait to return real soon.
Great food, ambience and live music on set dates. Staff fantastic, excellent cocktails and gin bar. Love this place.
I can't comment on the food as we went in here for a drink and to watch a friend's father play in a 40s/50s style Rock and Roll band. These were a 3 piece with a drummer, sax and double bass. I have to be honest walking past this place I have always felt intimidated yet when entering we were made to feel extremely welcome even though we were only drinks patrons and not there fore food. Due to the place being busy we were originally given a table upstairs however knowing we were here to enjoy the band, as soon as there was a vacant table the staff came and helped us move back downstairs. The drink selection was fantastic and again not drinking that evening I indulged in a non-alcoholic cocktail. Wow, this was no orange, grenadine and ice but some flavoursome fancy which I felt the same amount of effort went into as a standard cocktail. The decor of the place is amazing, all feeling very high end like no expense was spared. The owner was very friendly and the staff could not do enough for us. I really enjoyed my experience here and will definitely return perhaps with my wife for a nice romantic meal.
Visited Wards End Bistro for the first time today. We were requiring somewhere which offered Vegan choices. We were not disappointed. It was very clean and offered a stylish ambience. My friend and I were extremely impressed with how accomodating both Mark (owner) and Lennie (Chef) were. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was tasty and 'met the brief'! Thank you both for making our lunch such a relaxed and pleasant experience. Can whole heartedly recommend.
