Pilot in Command (PIC) Reviews | Rating 3 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Pilot in Command (PIC) is rated 3 out of 5 in the category airlines/aviation. Read and write reviews about Pilot in Command (PIC). Pilot In Command (PIC) was created to fill the resourcing gap matching both direct entry and cadet pilots with opportunities available in airlines across Europe and beyond. It is a cost effective and efficient approach to filling pilot vacancies, and, because it is not an agency, the airline partner retains the important role of maintaining direct contact with pilot applicants, directly marketing their organisation and the roles available, and managing all corporate messaging. FOR PILOTS Candidates create a discreet and confidential profile containing their experience and type ratings in a consistent format, along with the inclusion of copies of log books, medicals and licenses as attachments. The profile can be updated at any time, thus keeping it current and relevant for any future opportunities offered by airlines which match their experience. Airlines with vacancies advertised on the site can only contact a candidate when they have received an expression of interest, preventing the candidate from unwanted approaches. FOR AIRLINES PIC gives airlines an advert format which contains specific details relevant to the pilots they are searching for. Through exactly matching the details the candidates inputs with the criteria for the opportunity, airlines can immediately see how many pilots in the database might meet their criteria and be specific about what minimum requirements they have for the opportunity, including flying hours, aircraft type and rank. They can then 'market' that vacancy to the database of candidates who meet their specific requirements, knowing that those who apply are likely to be as close a match as is possible. In addition, the site can be an applicant tracking system where an airline doesn't have the relevant technology, allowing them to view candidates, progress them through a selection workflow and monitor and view what stage and status each candidate has reached.
