This place was extremely disappointing. Firstly, its very small and you can nearly see a road wherever you go. Secondly although it looks pretty in places, the roar of traffic from the M25 and other roads is present wherever everywhere and really spoils the whole experience. I think it has such high ratings because Londoner's standards of natural environments are so low.

One of the most amazing places to mountain bike, especially for beginners. It is easy to get lost and there are no signs anywhere about the trails but the forest is stunning and the scenery varies quite a lot. Only 20 mins from Liverpool Street by train.
Nice area far away from city when you want to escape the busy life of London. In the middle is a wide lake with a lots of birds, swans and ducks. Great place for walks with dogos. We had amazing time there!
