I appreciate how attentive the instructors are when the students cut my hair; the instructor came over several times to provide guidance for the learner. However, because students are learning, there is always potential for a mistake. In the spirit of grace, every expert was once a novice. My learner made a mistake and overcut my layers. I'm still giving five stars because Saffron and Sam have done such a good job of taking care of me and trying to make this right. Thank you.

Did my level 2 here. Staff are so friendly and really want to see you succeed. Emma is so helpful, really cares about you and makes sure you're being treated right by your salon. Made good friends and will cherish the memories. Never thought I would actually enjoy education
PLEASE IGNORE THE STAR I WOULDN'T GIVE THEM ANY!!! I came for an interview to become a adult learner doing level 3 hairdressing. I was asked to do a skills test which didn't go well but I felt like nobody who was meant to be interviewing me was actually observing what I was doing. When it was lunchtime everyone left the salon floor and didn't bother that I was there. When I finish cutting the block it was taken to be shown to one of the other staff members. After observing my hair cut on the block which I brought with me, it was decided that I was not going to be able to join the course as its fast pace course and I may struggle. (Even though I have just finished Level 2 hairdressing two months ahead of time this year and hold a City and Guilds Certificate since 1995.) The fact that the manager Emma who was meant to be conducting the interview was too busy in the staff room celebrating somebody's birthday, She got some millennial to tell me that how I must watch Youtube videos and practice and then come back to interview again in October. Not once was I asked any questions about myself, nobody asked to see my certificates which was requested by them to bring in, and what I planned to do once I achieved my qualification. I was really under the impression that I was applying to go on a course to advance my hairdressing skills not a JOB!! Personally let's just say I have bitten the bullet and will not be spending my hard earned 3,345 to do this course here!
Very friendly and inviting
