Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely outside seating perfect for sunny days.
My daughter and myself have just come back from a meal in the Plume. Joanne and the other staff were a delight. So lovely to have staff with a good sense of humour. The service was good aswell as the meal. We will definitely go back again.
We couldn't fault the service, the lady who took our order was very nice. (after being unable to download the app). Unfortunately we were seated by a drafty window and a cold radiator. Asked to move but told we couldn't as the roof was leaking over the other table. They did turn the heating on for us which helped. Sadly the food was low standard, greasy tasteless fish and chips. Maybe just not a good choice this time as food is usually much better.
I cannot believe they leave customers for ages without food and when you get it it's low quality and not nice to eat, one of the worst places I have ever eaten I would never come here again very disappointed they need to stop cooking food and stick to pouring pints , My dog would even been disappointed with this food! DO NOT RECCOMEND GOING HERE !!!! Shut it down it's not working . The picture here is overcooked meat and undercooked vegetables! " Vomit worthy"
Staff lovely & friendly most of the food is good but the Sunday roasts are inedible, hard veg, the meat was like cardboard & the roast potatoes are seriously under roasted, shant be going back
Great place to relax with a drink and really good food. Staff are very welcoming
Bertie was very helpful! This is one of the only pubs that have a great system implemented for these strange COVID19 times! Honestly I recommend highly... Get yourself down to the plume of feathers x
