I contacted Louisa after being let down by another seamstress. My wedding was only a month away and the dress needed alterations, particularly the neckline which just didn't look right. Louisa was fabulous - very responsive, knowledgeable and understanding. She managed to see me within a few days and as soon as I met her I knew I could trust her with my delicate dress. Louisa knew exactly what alterations would make the dress look best and she did the alterations quickly and to the highest standard. I got married last week and I was so happy with the way the dress looked, I felt absolutely beautiful and confident wearing it. Louisa did an amazing job on my four bridesmaid's dresses and on my mother-in-law's jacket for my wedding on the 21st September 2018. I couldn't have chosen a nicer and more trustworthy seamstress to transform their outfits. They were all perfect and looked so beautiful on the day. Louisa helped make everyone feel so special and I can't thank her enough for that. From start to finish, Louisa was really helpful at explaining pricing, the process and timings and it all felt very stress-free! Louisa is a fantastic dressmaker, her attention to detail is superb and the end result is always so professional. She took my wedding dress up for me, not an easy job with a long train, and has altered many dresses and pairs of trousers for me so that they now fit perfectly. She is friendly and so knowledgeable about all aspects of dressmaking, I would absolutely recommend her.
Louisa is so professional, friendly and kind. She made my wedding dress in 2015 and I am still to this day receiving compliments. Louisa took her time to listen to me, get to know me and therefore knew exactly what it was I looking for. The detail and cut of my dress was just exquisite. She met and exceeded all expectations and created the most beautiful, bespoke timeless dress. I could not thank her enough. 3 years later, Louisa was the first person I thought of when we needed our family moses basket reclined for a new baby. The moses itself is 60 years old so delicate hands were required. Once again, Louisa did an outstanding job and provided us with 2 new linings and mattress covers. I always welcome her suggestions and her level of quality is never compromised. Louisa can never leave my life :) I cannot recommend her enough.
