Firstly, I always find the reception team friendly and helpful. After a recent routine check up, I had the nurse steph. I haven't seen her before, and she was absolutely great, these things aren't always the most pleasant , but she made me feel at ease and comfortable. She was thorough, and any advice I required she was very helpful. Sometimes we are all quick to complain and be negative, i wanted to thank steph and the practice, these past months /year have been difficult for all, my last appointment I was very impressed and felt like I'd been taken good care of, thanks Newmarket medical surgery!

I have always had the most helpful and polite service from the receptionists, and very good care from the Nursing staff, and as for the Doctors I think they are Wonderful, especially in these trying times. Thank you all

Trying to speak to reception at this practice is impossible, I have moved house a lot and this is easily the worst practice (out of 4) that I have ever attended! This morning I am in need of advice regarding eye issues (visual disturbances, ongoing) When eventualy I was able to get through, I was num 9 in the queue, I hung on for ages, and then got to number 2, the phone was then answered and put straight down, cutting me off!! The same thing happened last time, that time! I waited from being number 9!!! Lord help the elderly and seriously ill patients!! My advice would be that you need more than one receptionist!?? I intend to leave, but dont want to re register with another practice in this group. NO CONFIDENCE! Patrica Brett

They only take appointments for the day you ring up ? by the time they answer the phone after waiting, the appointments are all gone. If you need to see a doctor & it is not urgent you should be able to book another day or get some more staff to answer the telephone.

If I could give a zero I would. Rude and nosy receptionist, not at all interested in helping anyone. You’ll see nurses never doctors.
