Ben Neilson was recommended to me roughly 2 years ago because my case spanned 2 states and had many twists and turns. I’m very grateful for the recommendation because he has been invaluable to my case and my sanity. I can be a bit high strung when it comes to protecting my child and Ben knew when to be quiet and just listen to me and when to challenge my faulty thinking and lead me down a better path. The one thing I asked of Ben in the beginning was to be completely honest with me about everything. He definitely did that for me, even when hearing the truth was sometimes really hard but what I needed to hear. We go through Mike Neilsen for family law issues, and he is a fantastic lawyer that REALLY puts his clients first. For one hearing, Mike couldn't make it, but his son works at the same firm, and stepped in for him. They are both excellent, willing to fight for you, try to get you what's right, and are great to work with. Mike listens to everything you have to say, and takes it all into consideration to get you the best outcome possible. He also explains everything step by step, so you know what to expect, and how it will all work. We haven't had any experience with the other lawyers in the firm, but would definitely trust them to take care of us just as well as Mike and his son do. Can't recommemd them enough!

Retained Mike Neilson back in June and have only heard from him personally 1 time in 6 weeks. I email and call to try and get things fixed that HE put down wrong in my petition for divorce but he won’t answer or call back. Also, I was told 3 different amounts that the retainer would cost, so there is no consistency or responsiveness from him or anyone else there.
