Was looking forward to going here but with no parking close to this shop was unable to shop here was here Monday 14th of September 2020 on the way back to the South Island. I would not go out of my way to go here unless you like to walk along way to get here.
Earthlink was recommended by some Hutt-based friends. I headed out there on a Saturday afternoon and arrived right on closing time,l. Having read some negative reviews, I expected to be turned away, but the staff were very courteous and friendly. Good stuff, I'll be back!
A treasure trove. Household, plumbing, electrical gadgets, clothing, garden needs, etc etc, you name it, there’s something bound to interest someones attention as you browse around. Realistic prices and the glory of hassle free parking away from the hustle n bustle of the city. I’m there nearly every week!!! Love this place.
Good place to rummage through some preloved goods. Placed out nicely and very tidy. Purchased a few things. Very happy with my buys. :))
Awesome..very helpful.. managed to get an agitator for washing machine 10-15 cheaper than any where else.. good customer service..went out of way to help..when none on shop floor managed to find one in another section..
Really helpful, pleasant people. Great for helping folks find work... And they provide work/or at least something for people to do for many people with substantial disabilities. Also, recycling is just great! And they recycle a lot of stuff. The shop is well worth a look through for all sorts of things. In the offices, there's a collection of some very interesting artifacts (precious older books, tools, old appliances, old toys and the like - all beautiful).
Love everything about Earthlink, from the op shop and factory out back to the social services out the front - love the work they do! And love find wonderful bargains in the shop.
