Excellent variety of clothing. Larger sizes, which I was looking for. Good range of other products too. Not liking the self service check out as I only had cash. Only one machine took cash and I had to ask where it was - no sign. The few staff they had were very busy. Staff polite and helpful.

The worst presented Kmart I have ever seen. No price points, items all over the place. Ripped packaging. Every time I'm in there staff are busy talking amongst themselves in groups near the counter. I wondered whether they were understaffed but that's not the case. Giving it more than one star because I did have a chat with the store manager and he was polite in receiving my feedback. Presentation is a priority in retail and should be the focus of all staff.

They have a much better selection of toys for kids better than the warehouse forsure!!

Nice and close. One of the ladies on security is really friendly, but unfortunately often empty or messy shelves. Shoes all over the place. And the toilets are forever Out Of Order which is a real pain when you have kids with you or really need to go. Have to leave the shop so then no point in returning.

Always good for an explore. Didn’t have everything that is advertised on the latest email I got. It was quite busy and not very organised but we found one thing we were looking for.

Apart from the layout being a bit strange, and some of the signage could be better placed, this is a great store. Generally wide aisles. Self-service checkouts are available. As with many other NZ stores, bring your own shopping bags, although in-store ones can be purchased.

I would spend more time at Kmart Petone, however every time I have been there and asked, the staff have told me there are no public toilets which is ridiculous for such a large store!!
