Student mentor was good, admin staff were helpful, everything else terrible, tutors were hard to get a hold of and often didn't reply till the right before an assignment was due, Most of the course work made sense... Until you started the assignment! I was told I didn't meet the requirements for a course when I tried to apply for an extension due to my laptop refusing to start for the 2nd assignment. Don't know why they allowed me to start the course if I didn't meet the requirements, but then tried to say I could have a late enrolment to do the required course for that semester which only had like 2 months to do 3 different assignments I honestly wouldn't reccomend unless your desperate! And even then.... Don't!

I Haven t visited New Zealand before but I am sûre that it is a wonderful country and it has the best universities all over the world I wish to sée it one day dream!
I am loving studying with open Polytechnic! the distance course are so flexible and full of really good material.
A great institute doing a great job. Love their staff cafe by the way.
I would avoid undertaking business Administration course BUS301 at the moment. While the online learning program is excellent, I have found the assessments very poorly written. The assessment criteria used to mark students asks for content not even in the exam! I have raised a complaint with the OP and NZQA. Just failed assignment 2 (twice) (and that’s after seeking clarification) and now they have suggested I enrol on the next course. My lecturer tells me the assignments are currently being ‘reviewed’. Total shambles and shameful way to treat students.
Big place Nice Staff
Nestled along Riverside Drive in the suburb of Fairfield, Lower Hutt, lies a correspondence, polytechnic institute that also has an international reach well beyond NZ. It offers a vital service in allowing access to tertiary studies in a broad range of subjects, to those students in remote areas as well as those closer by, who cannot attend real-time classes in person. Within the curriculum of a correspondence course there is a short, block course in which students can meet tutors face-to-face and have the opportunity to iron out any course difficulties plus participate in special workshops.
Great HR team. Thank you for all your wisdom. You know who you are.
