Lucky I didn't believe the last post about bad food.. I ate here tonight and food & beer was reasonably priced.. The chef did a great job of the meal and plenty of it. Excellent staff. The previous post needs removing bagging this place... Essential

The steak was dry and burnt. Tried to cover it with gravy but it was still dry and tough cutting it up. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our pavlova,, it was very yummy
I visit here usually once a month with a friend who is a member for lunch. I have found the food excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home so to speak. The decor is a bit dated sort of reminds me of the old pubs back in the day when you had live bands and it was great fun.
