Very relaxing, the examination was very thorough. There were lovely frames to choose from. Also a selection of bells and whistles you can select for your preference of lens. When I picked up my glasses, they were carefully adjusted to fit my face. A lady called Irene was great, told me what to expect for the first few days while I was getting used to them. She even made sure none of the arms made my ears stick out. I am happy knowing I can return with any problems or questions.

In November 2019, it was my first time using Specsavers Optometrist Lower Hutt branch - I was amazed and so grateful with their customer services. I got all what I wanted! Today, one of the arms of my glass comes off as its small screw is broken and has to be fixed it immediately with our QUALITY GUARANTEE. I rang them and they said to bring it over so they can fix it. I ll tell you the outcome tomorrow. ______________________________________ Wow! What a service! Absolutely amazing! I didn't check my waiting time but felt it took only about 2 minutes to fix my glass. I can't tell the difference whether or not I'm having a new glass. They didn't ask for anything so I got my glass fixed free of charge. Yay! What a feeling!

I've been going to specsavers lower hutt for 9 years with 4 of my children and my partner and myself with glasses we have always had awesome experiences especially with Carla who always goes over and beyond for us keep up the good work specsaver lower hutt

Terrible service, very poor experience, always running very late on the appointments, waiting time usually mire than 15 mins, but will not let the customer be 4 min late! The receptionist was just like a robot, no emotions no facial expressions, keep on repeating the same words, if you don't want to be at work don't come to work!

Terrible experience. A family member went to get an eye check and glasses. Had one of their workers do the eye test and everything went well until we got the prescription glasses and it was completely off. I went back saying I was not satisfied (within their satisfaction guarantee period) and they said they couldn't do anything, no refund or anything. YOU got the prescription details wrong, their instore optometrist even admitted it, but the worker denied it. But they were happy to say "buy a new pair, and it will cost XXX". I was literally out alot of money. Seriously I can not recommend them at all. Go to another place that will provide a better service. Look at all the other reviews as well, this store has no ethics and standards that they follow.

Had a appointment today at 4:35pm arrive there at 4:20 still not got looked at till I went to the counter and told them. I walked away because there forgot it was 4:50pm when they were going to see me Every other Specsavers a bin to they have excellent apart from the Lower Hutt one
