I encountered a particular type of problem when I was looking for a new battery online but as soon as I discussed this with Matt at The Battery Cell he immediately swung into action to try and solve my dilemma. He went to a great deal of effort on my behalf and the level of customer service I received was absolutely excellent. Was explained to me that 20% Depth of Discharge meant you could use 80% of the battery. Thinking I had it wrong all this time, I questioned again and tried to clarify - being told "it is quite simple" Next, i was told a solar DC - DC BATTERY CHARGER (CTEK d250s dual) would over charge the battery if left unattended. I checked with CTEK and they confirmed it turns stops charging once the correct voltage is reached. Ironically, the chap here told me to ask a "test" question of anyone saying a solar charger of any sort would NOT overcharge a battery bank and not to trust them.
