Got refused a refund after the tyre split and burst after only one month on the car. We were offered a replacement but after this tyre I wasn’t wanting to deal with it all over again. We are grateful they offered a replacement though. This just seemed like the only pleasant/kind thing they did. They didn’t treat us with much respect either. And to top it off as we were leaving we heard the manager laughing at what we can only assume/guess us. The laughter came as we were just out of the door as well.

Had a very negative experience with Tony's Lower Hutt. I opted for the premium service and charged over 200. The very next day changed all 4 tires, drive belt and wiper as per their recommendation for a whopping 1200 bill. Just 2 days after took the car to Masterton. When ready to return the car shows high engine temperature warning and advised not to run anymore to avoid further troubles to the engine. Upon checking it out by a local mechanic, they said there were obvious and visible water leaks and problem with water pump, tensioner and pulley which a service would have definitely shown, and its actually under the drive belt which Tony's replaced. I don't know what kind of service and inspection was performed for premium service. When asked about it, the guys says "its car, anything happens to a car" without any responsibility. Should have just used them with the tire changes and used a better qualified place for servicing. Very disappointed. Now my car is stuck at Masterton with a 2000 bill again. EDIT: The owner responded and asked me to send email with details to discuss. Been 3 weeks, nothing happened. Seems like a decoy.
