Customers? Why bother - they're getting the big bucks form the insurance companies! Went there to get quote for a small repair. First and only question I was asked: Does it go through your insurance? No! Answer: We're not dealing with customer orders right now! No explanation, no apology, not even trying to help or to offer an appointment in the future! Wow! Never had such an experience before. Why don't you guys close to the public and just deal with insurance companies? What a joke...

We had an unfortunate accident on our way to a Medical appointment on Friday the 13th of September. Our insurance carrier instructed us to be towed to CarStar in Sackville. We could not have landed at a more welcoming, caring location. Marcia and Aneice ( I am probably misspelling their names) were delightful. They made considerable effort on our behalf. This also speaks to the management that staff are so kind and considerate. I am a retired Family Therapist (34 years) and Cliff was a Paramedic for 30 years (Air Ambulance), yet this threw us for a loop. We had access to a phone to cancel our appointments and a comfortable waiting area for the rental to arrive. A rental that Marcia arranged. I am very impressed by the professional yet compassionate manner of everyone we encountered at this business. Well done!
Subaru WRX STi in for a little missing paint and a scratch repair through insurance. Cons -\tI was told, after having to ask about it, they took it to another shop in Upper Sackville to do repairs they apparently can’t do themselves. Sounds more like a quick joyride because: - Added almost 20 km, that I wasn’t made aware of beforehand, because of travel to the other shop and checking after 4 wheel alignment. (Didn’t think to ask for the shop name to find out where exactly it was taken) - Didn’t fill out Mileage In & Out on the invoice. - Used some of my own gas and didn’t replace. - Trip meter read far higher than when brought in (I monitor my gas fill up and watch my L / 100km average) Might be a bit of a stretch, but it seems whoever drove it was stepping on the gas most of the drive. -\tOriginally quoted 1400 before insurance, 1800 once insurance became involved. Though I’m sure that’s usual with insurance repair. -\tSeem hush hush and sketchy with behind the scenes. Pros -\tDid good work. -\tTook a day less than expected. -\tPicked up by Enterprise and brought over to get the rental. -\tNot much hassle dropping off and picking up. I’m satisfied with the repairs, but feel I was left in the dark with details of what they were up to for the 5 days between dropping off and picking up.
Had a great experience with Carstar Lower Sackville. The staff are friendly and courteous. Kim even took care of the rental company for me. My car looks great. Great job. Thank you.
