One of the best places I have shopped at in a very long time, I love the great selection of product and the quality. The only thing I have a difficult time with there, is deciding on what to buy and the dent in my wallet after I leave, because I want everything there lol. If you want the best bang for your dollar, and love supporting your local businesses, I highly recommend Ripsters Halloween Shop

I placed an order earlier this year for costumes for my son's birthday in April and was quite happy with not only the shipping time, but the exceptional customer service I received when one of the costumes was the wrong size. They were more than happy to exchange it for the correct size and went out of their way to help me out with that. I placed an order online, and did not receive an email confirmation for several hours. I ended up calling the shop to ensure that my order was received, and was given a snarky email reply about how confirmations usually go to junk folders (I had and have since checked all spam and junk folders, the confirmation never arrived). They also attached a copy of my online order. I ended up having to chase up my tracking information as I didn't receive a call from the shop as they advised I would. Upon checking my tracking information, I discovered that the parcel was NOT sent by the Xpresspost shipping (which I paid for) as I needed the costume by a certain date. This means that it is not going to arrive until after the event it was purchased for. My parcel was shipped by a method that is approximately 75% cheaper than the option I paid for. The staff have not been helpful in attempting to rectify the problems. I would NOT recommend Ripsters to anybody!
Horrible experience and quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever seen in a store. Be very careful when ordering online from these people. Ordered a costume and it came with runs and snags everywhere on the dress. I emailed, they responded and said they'd contact me. Nothing. I called and left a message. Nothing. I called and spoke with someone who said they'd call me back and that they were too busy at the moment after explaining my problem. They didn't call back. Poor quality costumes and bad customer service. Felt like they were just avoiding me so they wouldn't have to help me out or try and fix the problem. Stuck with a dress that looks like garbage and will likely only be able to wear once before it goes in the trash. It's a shame people have to chase after someone like this when there were mistakes on their end. I thought it would be good to buy from a Canadian store because it would be easier. Boy was I wrong
I went to Ripsters looking for high end body paint and fx equipment, and wasn't disappointed, they have a great selection! The staff was friendly and helpful. Honestly I was impressed. I requested that a staff member connect me with a well know person that does fx and classes. Not only did they take the time to connect us, I promptly received an email from them letting me know! That's what I call above and beyond service. I highly recommend this establishment. Thanks Ripsters!
Excellent customer service!! Ordered a few costumes for my children and the service was prompt! The costumes quality are amazing!! Would definitely buy again!!
