I have a 1st Feb appointment to sort gearbox, spoke at length with jay, he really seems to know his stuff and was very friendly to deal with.... I feel confident I'll have a good result from the work he'll do. Update; Gearbox all sorted, no problems and completed on time

Great to deal with and excellent customer service. Gave a full explanation of the work required and had photographs to hand of similar work previously undertaken. Kept me informed and invited me to inspect the work at key stages, again explaining the work thus far in detail. Also gave me advice regarding general condition of the vehicle and a few pointers regarding general maintenance.

Jay is a great fella to deal with.. I was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise which he willingly shared with me. He kept me informed about my gearbox repair/recondition all way through the job and was also more than happy to answer any questions I had. My rating is based upon a recent enquiry. I wanted to get a gearbox shimmed correctly and rebuilt as it was whining after having a new final drive fitted. They did not want to take the job on. For that I can only say it does not fill me with confidence that they are capable of doing the task. As a gearbox specialist I would have expected them to be able to take the task on and sort for me. Instead I am now looking to send to competition transmission services who have said they can do it for me. Poor when they are our local gearbox specialist and only 2 miles away. Cannot comment on their workmanship but going off the refusal to take on a job I can only say its above their skill level.
