Wonderful lake for a short hike or an overnight stay. We had a couple of great day hikes from our camp at this lake up to the Middle and Upper lakes. Those areas are kind of off trail so make sure you know the layout of the area. Beautiful scenery and lots of quiet. At the right time of year there are huckleberries on the edge of the lake. Great spots to get into the lake for a cool off after a hike.
