All staff were excellent. I completed the 28 day program in which when I began the program I did not believe I would be able to complete it ... Only cause I had self doubt & failing issues ... They helped me in a considerable way ... From anger issues, past issues & understanding my addictions in a way better format. Thank you to all the staff at L.S.S.I. ---- Joel Ford ( Rockford, IL. )

I'm hoping they had a huge turn around with the staff since I've been there. The staff made the \addicts\ feel absolutely terrible about themselves. It was almost as if they were trying to be emotionally abusive just to set us up for failure. I understand treatment centers are supposed to be strict. There's nothing wrong with the rules, however, the staff honestly didn't seem to give a care about anyone. My counselor (will not name drop out of respect...because I have that towards other people) kept using a vulgar word that referrs to mentally challenged people. Me being a mom of a child with disabilities kindly asked her to not use that word because I find it offensive. Rather than changing her behavior, she continued more and more to use that word. She had pretty much said that I'm an addict and have no say in anything that involves respect towards me because I don't deserve it. In all honesty I couldn't even take my last week there due to feeling completely disrespected at that point. This on top of countless other instances makes me want to give this prison (basically what it is) negative stars. I had more success helping myself than that place had getting paid to help me.

This place is amazing I've been incarcerated I've been in treatment detox every program and everyone tried to help I stayed there not the full 28 days and participated not that much but I did listened some of the time and a year later stuff they told me hit me and it's all different teachings and perspectives I can't say in words how good of a place this is I would highly recommend it I also owe my life to the staff and above most God!
