Great to work with. Any problems were resolved quickly and totally to our satisfaction. I’d definitely call on them again. Also, we had an issue with the under counter lights about 9 months after the job was complete, and they came out and took care of it, no problem . They stand by their work.

Lucas Craftsmanship did a fantastic renovation on my daughter’s historic house in the Heights. It was amazing work. So when my home flooded in hurricane Harvey my daughter and son in law suggested without hesitation that I should contact the Lucas company to help with my cabinet repairs. I hesitated because it’s a relatively small job to repair a few cabinets but nonetheless my son in law reached out and contacted them and they agreed to try and help me out. Steven Lucas came out to my house knowing full well in advance it was a small project and not the company’s expertise. But he came anyway, spent time discussing the project in detail, dispensed pro tips about how it needed to be done, and then told me how backed up they were in their carpentry area so it would be several months before they could do anything, and, what I needed was not their particular expertise. Steven told me what kind of skills and company i needed, and gave me the name of someone in the trade who could do my work faster and on a budget. How amazing is that. Then he told me stories about his kids and hugged me when he left. I’m sorry I won’t get a chance to work with these guys this time. True professionals, great work, and overall really nice people.
Working with Lucas Craftsmanship was a complete joy! We live in a loft building downtown, so a bit of a logistical challenge when in comes to renovating. But everyone at LCI made it a breeze, providing my building management with everything they needed in terms of insurance documentation and coordinating times of using the freight elevator etc. The project management ran extremely smooth and all of the workers were very nice and respectful as we were still living in our unit during the renovation. They worked very hard to keep the rest of the home clean and protected from all of the construction. We were so happy with the end result too! We had a bathroom remodel as well as adding a wall and second story to our 18 foot ceiling open concept loft. Probably not their typical project, but they worked above and beyond to make us happy and succeeded. I was also pregnant during the renovation and I was still happy from start to finish so that’s saying something. We worked a little with Billy in the initial design concept phase and then Steven was our project manager. Working with a family run business really is the way to go, because you know they really care about their business, colleagues and customers. Steven really became more of a friend and helped me along with design decisions and dealing with unavoidable issues that arise during any renovation. I would definitely choose LCI again and probably will because I’ve been dreaming about new projects to do to our unit to make it work for our growing family. So hopefully they will be willing to work with us again.
Lucas Craftsmanship was a pleasure to work with. Home repairs and renovations are never stress-free, but the entire team at Lucas made it as easy as possible. Unlike other contractors we've worked with in the past, they were very communicative, punctual, and professional during our entire project. We had to get our kitchen cabinets replaced—the new ones match the old ones perfectly and are even better quality than before! It gives us peace of mind that they stand by their work and their quality. We were even pleasantly surprised at the end when they brought in a cleaning lady to remove all of the construction dust (even on the ceiling!). They truly go above and beyond. We will be calling them for any future projects and will be recommending them to friends and family looking to remodel.
AMAZING experience! From beginning to end, communication was great, our project manager Joey was excellent, and quality was impeccable. They were a very tidy crew as well as worked very fast and stayed within budget. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
