This was an awesome little place to stay. We had 3 nights here. Very nice staff, that where helpfull with recommending places to eat and to help us rent bikes for a day.
Beautiful hotel! The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the rooms were immaculate and just stunning! Beds were extremely comfy, and the hotel is in such a great location, short walk/ride to the walls, and in a quiet space as well. Would recommend to anyone!
My son and I stayed here as a treat for my 60th birthday and we weren't disappointed. The hosts and staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They picked us up when we arrived and dropped us back off at the train station when we left. The building itself is one of the lovely old Art Deco villas that is about a 15 minute walk from the walled town. Our room was a decent size and was cleaned to a good standard every day. There is an outdoor sitting area which we were not able to use as the weather wasn't brilliant but I am sure it is lovely to sit out there where the weather is good. I can thoroughly recommend Lucca in Azzurro and would definitely stay here next time I am in the beautiful town of Lucca.
What a fantastic B&B in Lucca. I would highly recommend this place. 5 out of 5! I found the location just right with it being a 10-minute walk to the walls of old Lucca. The walk into Old Lucca is very easy with some great places to stop for coffee and cakes and or ice cream! The B&B itself was beautiful. Very nicely decorated and very comfortable with plenty of free parking on site. The staff were just brilliant. Before I arrived I exchanged a few emails with Anna, who was really helpful with my queries. Upon arrival, we were met by Anna and Leo, who simply could not be more helpful. A really great start to our stay - so welcoming. Throughout our stay, Anna helped us with a few things - somewhere to eat which was the best food we had over the weekend - Trattoria Da Giulio and a wine tour which was just brilliant! Breakfast was good also - very typical continental style buffet which was just right. Highly recommend this place and we will be back - we can't fault it!
A really great little hotel. Staff were excellent, the beds SO comfortable and the rooms perfect. Even the shower worked properly! Short walk from the centre of Lucca, just 10 minutes, so very convenient. Will go back for sure.
We absolutely loved this hotel!!!! The staff couldn't be more friendly! We travelled with our 7-month old baby, last November... they provided the most comfortable cot for our daughter, the cleanest sheets, everything was impecable! The suggestions they gave us as to restaurants (By the way, the restaurant they recommended was the best in Italy!!!!), what to do and what to see were wonderful! A home away from home! I highly recommend this hotel. Price of a 3-star hotel, service of a 5-star hotel. Thank you for making our stay sooo wonderful!!!!
