One of the most beautiful church in Italy!!! Legend says that on bright days you can see a green sparkle gleaming on the statue, which some believe may be an emerald nestled somewhere in the statue, but the stone has never been found.

Beautiful area. Lots to see. Shops, food, even ran into a local second hand sale. Fun area.

A nice place to visit and take some pictures with you and your family. I would definitely recommend visiting this church if you are in Lucca.

This place doesn't even look real. When I encountered this cathedral I found a place to sit and ended up staring at it for a good 30 minutes. It looks like an illustration you might see in a fantasy novel. And the size of this place, compared to the surrounding community, just stunning.
