Very cute shop in Lucca
A bad experience I'm afraid. First, respect to the young staff here, they speak English, I do not speak Italian. Second, though I was sold a data sim that doesn't work in my mifi router, with no recourse for refund. The key is that I presented my router first up (an unlocked router used in several Euro countries) and asked for a sim that would work in it, they gave it, I paid, it didn't, no money returned to me. Cue a Monty Python dead parrot sketch, but with the shopkeeper tending to talk loudly over me. Oh well, money down the drain and I suspect the staff were purely following company orders. Lesson learned, somewhere.
