I've spent a lot of time here watching birds: Anhinga, roseate spoonbill, white ibis, among others. Also saw a bald eagle in the distance, in the direction of the River. There are some nice baldcypress woods between the Eddy and the River. The Eddy is a lot of fun to kayak... just mind the alligator.
