Well, in a city where you don’t have many choices, a public market like this gets 3 stars. Don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed. The market has some greengrocers open every day, but the best day to buy fruits & vegetables is Sunday---EARLY Sunday. The market also has a butcher on the weekend but EEK! They also sell a bit of everything including a tapioca stand, a watch repair kiosk, spices, beers, honey and so on.
