HONEST REVIEW OF SOMEONE ONCE AFFILIATED WITH THIS FACILITY. The facility is absolutely amazing. Most of the staff genuinely care about the animals and do a great job. Even the owner, Ryan, seems to care about the animals and is mostly a nice person. Most likely - you will be happy with this facility assuming the price point doesn't bother you. Where they fall short is owning up to PROBLEMS. When there's a problem, be it with a customer, animal, employee etc, Ryan does NOT properly address the problem. The problem then escalates because he didn't take the time to handle it properly. Ryan then does his best to try and conceal the problems or push them under the rug to shirk responsibility. This behavior is extremely problematic for employee and client retention (Lucky & Lady has problems with BOTH), as well as unsettling for potential new clients. Ryan needs to take reported problems with animals, employees etc. more seriously and actually implement plans to help solve problems and keep clients and employees happy. In conclusion, though the facility is nice, Ryan as a person would have to do a LOT better for me to recommend his facility for animal care OR employment purposes. He just isn't as genuine or honest as I would expect and need someone in his position to be. I also had some issues with one of his concierges, but as she seemingly no longer works there, I left her out of this review.

I had to last minute board my kitten and lucky and lady was able to accommodate my last minute request. They provided me with pictures while I was away which I appreciated a lot because this was my first time using this service. Thank you all and I definitely will be returning for my boarding needs! Oh and the condos they provide are superb!!
I recently began using Lucky and Lady and am very pleased with their service! The online webcams so you check on your pet throughout the day are awesome AND the fact that they have personnel in the playrooms to monitor the play! If a pup seems isolated from the others they will go over to pet him and also make sure that play remains friendly... The facility is pleasant & well-kept, and every employee has been warm and welcoming, and patiently answered questions. Definitely recommend.
I’ve gone to Lucky & Lady twice now to self-wash my miniature schnauzer mix. The staff I’ve met have always been super friendly & very helpful! Having everything there is great for me so I can run my dog over there straight from the park or wherever he’s gotten messy. I don’t even live in the area, but it’s worth the drive! The facility is always clean & well stocked. The ONLY downside (which is not the business’ fault at all) is that parking can be a bit tough at times. The adjacent plaza has a parking lot that works in a pinch.
I boarded my two very playful 7 month old cats at this facility over the weekend and I'm honestly very disappointed in the service we received. This was our first time leaving them since we got them at 4 months old and we were a bit nervous. We weren't able to find a family member or friend to watch them so we did a lot of research and found this place with great reviews. We had such high hopes because the staff was so friendly and helpful leading up to their stay but the overall experience was very upsetting. I called several times ahead of the stay to ensure the cats would get enough play time throughout each day. I was informed that a staff member would play with them every few hours during regular hours. That did not happen. There are camera's in the "Cattery" where owners can check in. I checked in on the cameras very often while I was away and only saw someone come in a few times to clean the litter boxes and replenish food and water. I never once saw anyone playing with my cats. I was also told we would get frequent updates with pictures and videos. I only received updates when I had to call in three times to check on them myself and make sure they were okay as they were visibly scared on the camera. Every time I called, the staff would say they're doing fine and I would see on the cameras as we were on the phone that they would go in, shove a phone in the "cat condo" take a few sad pictures then walk out. They didn't even give the cats any love or affection. They also lied to me when I called to check in about how much play time they've gotten. I was told they had played at a certain time but I was looking at the cameras at that time and no one ever played with them. They claimed it was a "busy" weekend yet there are only 6 total cat condos and I never once saw a staff member playing with any of the other cats. Our cats were held up in a tiny box for three days with no stimulation or affection. Very disappointed and we will not be bringing them back.
I just started taking my dog, Bentley, to Lucky & Lady. The staff have been extremely responsive and they are all pleasant. I love that they have the dog cams so you can watch them throughout their stay. The temperament test was nice because you don't have to schedule a whole separate session for that and THEN have the ability to schedule boarding/daycare. When you schedule your temperament test, you drop off your dog and then if s/he are able to handle the situation well, they will automatically convert the appointment to boarding if you want (or you can pick up and schedule another time). I also really enjoyed the fact that if you schedule for your pet to have treat time, they will take him/her to a separate room to enjoy their treat so other dogs don't steal it away. This facility is on the pricey end; however, I do believe what they offer is of great value. I got text updates with photos (featured in this review) throughout the day about my furbaby and I really appreciated that since he is very new to being around that many dogs at once. I believe this will be a great opportunity for socialization for him and I plan on bringing him back. Right now there apartments in Madison Yards are not open so scheduling is really easy, but I suspect that as soon as those apartments are open and occupied this will be a very hot spot for owners. The client portal is very simple to use, which is another positive experience. I also believe that the staff genuinely care about your pets. It makes me very comfortable leaving him in their care.
Fantastic experience at Lucky & Lady! They took tremendous care of my Aussie - made her feel right at home from the second we got there. The groomer was extremely professional and courteous outlining his recommendations for services without overselling. She came home looking and smelling terrific! We will definitely be back soon!
We took our 15 year old dog to this groomer for the first time, and there were several great things. First, we were able to schedule an appointment just a couple days out, there wasn't a weeks-long waiting list. Also, they made it easy to create her profile online. Our dog looked so great and her coat was light, fluffy and clean after her appointment. While the cost is a little high for us, the quality of the grooming job and experience was very good.
