St Giles Church stands in fields in Downton, it's tall spire first comes into sight after you've travelled the lanes off the Wigmore to Leintwardine road It's a well looked-after church with about 12 lovely stained-glass windows. Well worth a visit to St Giles' in its quiet, peaceful setting with beautiful views of North Herefordshire.
