Without a doubt, the finest public house in Shropshire. Possibly England. Has both beer AND gin! The landlord and his wife warmly welcome any and all guests and there's an outside chance you can get a sign printed while-u-wait. Whether you're visiting Clee Hill for the museums or the galleries, you should eschew all other public houses in the immediate area and drink at this one.

Golden cross, clee hill. We went there to celebrate family members 80th birthday. Small pub but friendly.We were well catered for. The buffet was excellent. The drinks were fine. The staff served us well.
