Wildwood is a nicely presented restaurant with many of the features you'd expect from a building of antiquity, large beams etc. Service was pleasant and professional but could have been quicker at times. The venue was around half full. Prices seemed a bit ambitious for the food which was presented well but could have used some additional ingredients to lift it above good. Overall you'll enjoy the experience but it's not outstanding, hence 4 stars.
Hosted a baby shower on the third floor of this beautiful building. It was very private, they allowed us to decorate the room as we wished. Staff are very welcoming and went out of their way to ensure all was ok. Would definitely have another event there
I dined there at this historic cafe fifty years ago with a school from near Bridgnorth plenty of character and we went there on the day of the festival in Ludlow castle
I went for an interview for a waitressing job the interview went okay and I was asked to come back for a try out shift. I they said we will call you at the end of the week they did not. I then called them to ask if I had the job the girl that picked up the phone said you can call back tomorrow as the manager is out. I called back and the girl said again that the manager is out. Three times I called them and the manager was out. Not even the managers daughter who happened to be the assistant manager (wonder how she got that position) could of given me an answer. I am sorry but I found this really unprofessional and cowardly if you don’t think I am right for the job then just pick up the phone and say so.
Slow service. Four us waited an hour for very simple food. Had a big sign outside stating meals half price Monday and Tuesday. It was Tuesday but no discount. Fortunately we had Taste Cards so got the discount from them.overpriced for what it was and very basic service.Wildwood in Ludlow
Me and my friend drove to Ludlow for a day out, went to the restaurant at 1pm, the food didn't arrive until 2.15pm (I know it's cooked from fresh as I've been to the one in york), yet this time nobody thought to tell us it would be this long, as it was pretty empty as well. Anyway when the food finally came, the teenage waitress threw my plate down and walked off!!!! I waited until she went to the table behind to ask for some sauce and after eating half of my meal, the sauce finally came! Disgusting service!!! Would never come here again
One of the best and friendliest restaurant I have visited in Ludlow. Alexis, who served me was very friendly and helpful. The service was very quick. Food is healthy and great taste.
