Would like to enter a complaint regarding customers inability t use the debit/credit card transaction function at your gas pumps. This interruption of service has been on-going since the new computer installation. First, customers were patient while staff learned the new system. No problem there, and we were glad to go into the store. Now, it is Fall and today spent 8 minutes attempting to use the gas pump transaction system which did not allow any function if you responded "no" to Air Miles Card insertion. Transaction cancelled was the response. After 6 frustrating minutes, and numerous attempts with 2 debit cards, a customer service clerk came out to the pumps, stating "we are trying to fix this problem now". There were 4 employees in the store, but no one had placed an "out of order" sign on the pumps. There should have been many available as they were continually placed on the pumps for the last month or more. This is an easy access station , bright and clean, with the best banana loaf ever, and has been a pleasure to be a customer there, however, now I will take my twice a week gas fill up to the Irving at Exit 11, Highway 103 en route to Halifax. There were any customers at the pumps today and unfortunately the clerks had to take there comments, but I prefer to email in the hopes that 1) technical situation is resolved by October 10th and 2) an email with an apology is sent to me. Thank you for your time and attention to this issue.
