The BUSHEMI Clinic has designed the in-Home Care Service modeled around Zambia’s home based care service where community volunteer health workers provide physical care and support during day time to patients’ at home within their respective communities. In-Home Nursing Care Service shall feature provision of safe culturally sensitive home nursing care built on up-to-date evidenced based practice, through a network of nurses and volunteer lay caregivers at a fee-for-service who shall work as independent contractors. The caregivers shall be trained in palliative care and end-of-life care in order to adequately prepare them for the service provision.
