This old byway is used mainly by horseback riders and some walkers on the trail from Marston trussell to gumley/lubenham. the bunkers hill byway is the old route to scoborough lane. crossing the old railway track and on to the rugby rd (old A427 / A4304) to theddingworth. a nearby bridge closed the road to motorised traffic but some 4x4 users still travel this section in the summer months the old bridge was also the standin location for the 1967 film robbery.
