A place to enjoy breakfast, tea and lunch for all the family. Bright, accommodating, bold and spilling over with cucumber cool culinary cues. I love the emphasis on tea: beautifully decorated fine china cutlery and tea pots are on display in every corner. I really enjoyed my baked potato, beans, tuna mayo, coleslaw and side salad. All freshly prepared, enjoyed in a comfortable environment. Given the down-to-earth, warm staff, this will soon become a weekend institution for all the family to enjoy.
Afternoon tea was delicious, sandwiches had plenty of filling in cakes were gorgeous as were the scones. Plenty to eat well worth the money would highly recommend it. Also the staff were very polite and helpful. Can’t wait to go again.

Went here for afternoon tea. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was lovely and more than enough to eat. Will definitely go back.
I contacted E and R tearoom to ask them to deliver afternoon tea to my daughter as a surprise during lockdown. They could not have been more helpful. Contacting them, paying, asking forfood preferences and the actual delivery was fantastic. They were helpful and prompt. Feedback from my daughter was that everything was delcious and plentiful. If you want to send anyone a treat, or even for yourself, I would recommend this tearoom.
Had afternoon tea delivered. Was awful Soggy crisps due to being put in with the salad. Cake looked like it was leftover from a birthday. When contacted about it nobody seemed bothered. No offer of a refund. Very disappointed. Won't be going there again.
Afternoon tea was very nice but there were a few issues. Tea was served over 20 mins before the food and so was cold before food arrived. Only one small tea plate for savoury and sweet and nowhere to put any debris. Waitress had 'forgotten' to wear a mask. Table was very sticky apparently from cleanser used but there are lots of disinfecting products that don't leave a sticky residue. Cake forks would have been better than full sized forks and small cheap paper napkins were of little use. They did supply cake boxes to take home what we were unable to finish which was appreciated.
