Great food, huge portions! Reasonably priced and in a lovely location. We also stop here for a coffee after our Saturday morning run.. fantastic for kids.

Fantastic food, wonderful choice for starter, main and dessert. Good selection of specials. Friendly team of staff and prompt service. Generous portions and able to adapt if needed. Try the prawn cocktail, practically a main course in itself! Nice atmosphere with tables comfortably set apart. Pub feel but fine restaurant quality.

Well set out for social distancing. Service good. Lunch time meal was first class. We were well looked after, our grandson was happy in the high chair they provided. Altogether a lovely meal and family experience.

As a disabled driver I was disappointed the only blue badge space was not available because an outside table was on it. Had to wait to be shown to table . Starters were ok but at the carvery the beef could not have been cut any thinner and not much of it. Veggies were cooked nicely but served up by the young staff a bit like school dinners. We were too full up for a pudding but there was a lot of them and looked quite tasty.

We visited during the Eat Out To Help Out scheme and had a great experience. We both had sirloin steak which was absolutely brilliant, very tasty and cooked really well. Very good onion rings as well. The restaurant was very busy but everything was COVID-19 ready. Highly recommend.
