Visited on Saturday for the first time spot on facilities and clean and tidy lakes and well kept areas round the lake onsite toilet which is a bonus going back in the morning for another days relaxing and fishing

Very good. I like carp fishing on last visit had fish weighing 9, 8 and 5lb. Best this year 10lb.

I turned up thinking this was a day ticket venue but unfortunately it is a members only water. The young gentleman was very polite and curtious and asked me was I member, he explained clearly about the membership, I packed up my fishing equipment apologised for my error. By the way I was very impressed by the set out , very clean and great looking water once again I thank the young man for being understanding and your members have a absolute gem of a fysherie.

Excellent Fishery well run by Andy and Helen always on hand to give you advice whether it be on the bank or from the hut where they will do you a fry up for you to sit at one of the tables in there or if you prefer bring food to your peg where your fishing. Talking of fishing - it doesn't come much better - three lakes absolutely stuffed with fish, the large original mescar lake is now a pleasure lake with all species including 20lb carp, mistral lake is the match Lake with weights going up to and over 200lb, and the newly opened marlin lake with carp to 5lb everywhere. If you run out of bait you need not worry- a good selection of pellets and other baits are sold from the cabin including terminal tackle etc, give it a go - you won't be disappointed!
