Great purpose built truck services with seperate fuel area and truck wash. Although old and tired and in great need of total modernization, it stil gets the thumbs up. During Covid19 epidemic the Costa Coffee machine in WH Smith, as in all motorway services, are still charging full wack for a coffee. Seriously, wouldn't you think they would have given a discount to truckers during this pandemic, seeing as so many food outlets are in Lockdown.. I will bring a flask from now on. Saving 3 a cup soon adds up.

Beware the parking restriction. If you are charging up your electric vehicle, you need to note two things: 1. There is an automatic cut-off after 45 minutes, so if you are low on charge, you have to reconnect and start a new session. 2. Woe betide thee who overstay at said charging station. The charlatan parking enforcement will send you a 100 fine in the post forthwith (reduced to 60 if paid quickly without argument, oh how benevolent), if you overstay by even minutes.
