The crown is a decent pub with a great beer garden. Lots of car parking available, should you be driving. There’s certainly a younger generation in there come the evening, so it can be quite loud with some antics....not one for families on weekend evenings or when football is on. The pub quiz is good and well worth a visit on a Thursday. The food is good...typical pub grub with decent portions and certainly worth going for. The decor inside is nice, tastefully decorated and to a high standard with a good selection of drinks. Overall, a good pub.

Very impressed with The Crown. Came for an unexpected visit after The Little Manor pub in Thelwall was full and couldn't serve us. The Crown has a very pleasant modern layout inside which you wouldn't expect seeing it from the outside. The food menu was a little bit limited on choice, but that was fine as the food we had was lovely. The staff are all very pleasant and very welcoming even though we had never been here before. And most important and a huge bonus to The Crown they welcome dogs. This will definitely be on my list of regular places to visit.
James and his team do a fantastic job. Food is excellent and staff are polite and welcoming.
As a family we made a last minute decision to go out for lunch. Its not easy at the moment with all the rules .... but we arrived and the astmosphere was lovely. Social distancing was strictly adhered to and table only service which is fine by me. All the staff were cheerful efficient and safe. Food was lovely ...I had the fish and chips and it was piping hot. We had a great meal and i would recommend avisit.
Nice modern pub with relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonably priced food.
