Absolutely horrible experience! Took my deposit and haven’t heard from them since was told I was supposed to start last month, then told I was ‘first on the list’ for the next mo the course which has already started and still have not received a call. When I called I was told that I had to wait another month because classes had already started, when I explained I had already payed to start months prior I was told ‘ oh well just come tomorrow’ very unprofessional
I started inner state in November I wanted to start sooner but there is little to no phone communication or any communication at all. That alone I wish was the end for my experience at inner state but it was only the beginning of the worst beauty school experience you could possibly have about everything in my kit came outdated extremely cheap quality as a esthetic student cos students are required to use what’s in their kits their entire program or purchase outside products. The time people are referring to when they mention the school was closed due to “no water” or COVID-19. It’s really due to the school being EVICTED from the building students staff and CLIENTS there is NO ORGANIZATION. No one knows anything that goes on in that school, and to make matters worse they lose hours people are there YEARS for a 1yr-6month program. If you want to start your beauty career at least call other schools and see what else is out there because this place is a waste of time and money. Take a tour for yourself and you’ll see how professional this place really is compared to any school in Ohio this is bottom tier.
I’ve only been here one other time. The last visit everything was fine. I went over there and there was a sign on their door annoying they were close until 3/9/2020 due to lack of water. It is 3/10/2020 and they’re still not open. I tried calling them to see if they have a recorded message. The phone rang and nobody picked up and there was no message at all. I’m weary to try again.
