When I came in for my first time the employee was extremely nice to help me out. He answered all of my questions and also did his best to help me and show me where all the product is. He was able to show me the best deals that they have and helped me to look for not only the quality but also budget as well. Outstanding experience. About a year ago I went into a competitors store looking to buy a bass guitar, amp, and lessons. There were about 10 employees hanging around doing not much of anything and maybe another customer or two. I was there for about 25 minutes and at no point was I greeted or asked if I needed help. Today, I go into the Sam Ash store and I am immediately greeted by Robert Schneider. He asked if I was looking for something in particular and we talked about my wanting to learn bass. Robert being a bass player himself was already to take care of anything I needed and answer any questions. In short, I felt like someone was truly interested in what interested me, tailored the equipment needs to my taste and budget, and got me setup with lessons. All of this was done with no pressure sales tactics and the obvious love of music. Make no mistake, good equipment is investment but I feel I got a good deal on what I took home. My thanks to Robert and everyone else who had part in getting me started. :)

Isaiah is awesome! I do not play an instrument and neither does our 23 yo daughter who asked for a guitar for Christmas. Isaiah happily helped me figure out which guitar to purchase, as well as the accessories out daughter would need to get started. I gave him my budget, and he actually recommended a guitar that was under my budget but, in his opinion, the best value. I totally appreciated his insights and honesty!

I grew up hanging out in a local music store in Akron, and I used to love playing whatever instrument caught my eye. That chain of stores is long gone and has forced me to shop elsewhere. I was regularly shopping at another well known national music store chain, but I always felt rushed at those stores and really didn't enjoy the experience. I'm happy to say that my recent experiences at Sam Ash have brought back some of those feelings of yesteryear. The staff was never pushy and always accommodating. Buck the other big music store. Shop at Sam Ash for a good experience and good value.
