I had cod and chips here and it was great quality and very filling. My partner had chicken, mushroom and tarragon pie and he thoroughly recommends it. It smelled delicious too. It was a very good chippy and there are plenty of benches around so that you can sit and enjoy the striking views across the sea and coastline. I preferred it to sitting in a restaurant.

Fast efficient, friendly service. Although, Only one size of cod. Perfectly cooked...and if you can eat without the seagulls dive bombing you, the views are wonderful.
I just love the opportunity for a ride out to Lynmouth and a visit to the Esplanade Fish Bar is an absolute must. We always stop here for a box of fish and chips and have never been disappointed by the service or the quality of the food. Eat them by the sea wall and soak in the atmosphere. Beautiful!!!
Best fish & chips I have had. I believe they're cooked in groundnut oil (so beware if you have an allergy) which may account for the delicious crispy tastiness of the chips. The fish and batter also perfect. Very efficiently run too.
They have seemed to organise them selves well during these weird times, a little wait but that's too be expected when there loads of tourist. Nice and polite service, reasonably priced and the fish and chips was good.
