A beautiful house in an ideal place. Well equipped and a comfortable stay. It is getting a little bit tired (decor etc.) But the facilities and setup is still excellent.

Lovely property, suitable for large groups (we had 18 adults and 4 children), with wonderful views and great facilities. The rooms are all clean and tidy, and whilst the property may be a little old, it's certainly warm and well maintained. The showers aren't exactly commodious nor are they powerful, but there is plenty of hot water and again they are clean and tidy. Very comfy beds and having 2 large reception rooms meant there was always space. The kitchen and dining area are equally superb! I would recommend to any one this fabulous location. One word of caution, don't bother trying to park at the house, it's very tricky! Use the public car park (5 for the day) to ensure peace of mind and just a little trek to the house.

Lynhurst House was just a dream to have a very large family gathering coming from France, United States and various parts of England to celebrate Christmas! It was just magical and the house provided such a warming welcome to us all with Christmas trees in inviting dining room and lounge plus the grand staircase! The bedrooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was so well equipped with everything you needed to cook festive meals, the Aga was just a treat to experience delicious meals too! The outstanding views of the sea were enjoyed by us all not only in the living areas but in most bedrooms. My family enjoyed a few evenings of music entertainment with a lovely piano in one of the lounges and Christmas was special with us all singing, playing the piano with guitars and flutes! I strongly recommend Lynhurst House to anyone who wish to have the most amazing experience of a large party in a traditional house full of character and the surrounding is just wonderful. We will go back there in a not so distant future. The host was extremely friendly and so helpful with our queries.
