I highly recommend this castle! We had a private visit with the guide a \dégustation\ for 10, it totally worth it! Initially the tour should be around 1 hour, it lasts 1 and a half hour for us. We tasted 2 wines : 1 red (10 years old) and 1 white (4 years old).

White: 70% S.B., 28% Semillion, 2% Muscadelle. Owner: the Jean- Jacques de Bethmann family. Banker in N.Y. Tour 10 per person. Its a very good value for money.
Breathtaking winery! Excellent wine tour, both educational and fun. The estate had beautiful castle with such interesting history. The wine facility follows old wine making method with modern twist. Absolutely fine taste wine! Great vineyard if you want to experience what Bordeaux is about.
Very knowledgeable tour guide with excellent English. We had a tour around the outside of the Château (you can't go inside as the family still live there) where we learned lots of information about the history of the château and vineyard. As we visited during the harvest, we were able to see the grapes being sorted and destemmed. We then got to see the big vats and also the barrels of wine being aged and stored. This was followed by a tasting of the château's wine - one white and one red. For 10, it was a great tour.
