This is as authentic as it gets! Very traditional establishment with extremely friendly, flexible and attentive service. English is spoken fluently. The bathrooms are basic, but clean and sufficient. The fish and chips were as close to the real thing as you can get. I would also recommend the burgers! The only down-point: we had to wait quite a while for our food, but it was more than worth it. Fine ales are also served. Would recommend this place highly :)

At first glance it seems to be a very simple pub, a bit run down and greasy. But people there are super friendly and it offers a good variety of beers. And the food is surprisingly good! Plus there is live music almost every evening in the holiday season. Definitely worth a visit.

If you're in the mood for fish and chips, look no further. The kitchen is too small to keep up with orders so be prepared to wait 30 minutes for your order, and then decor probably hasn't changed in 40 years, but the beer selection is good and the gin is inexpensive, so enjoy a drink on two outside while you wait and it will be well worth it in the end.

They have a very good fish and chips. The other fish thee is not that good, though.
