Mäkelänrinne could be better, but lets start from the good, lots of tracks, lots of possibilities for swimming, average depth is good for beginners in the 25m side and goes deeper if your doing an 50m pool. Switching pools is easy and kids are nicely isolated near the warm pool. What you miss is basically a hot tub style fancines and maybe more tracks nowadays or in general more swimming halls in Helsinki as it can get crowded on busy mornings and weekends

Nice and good swimming pool I appreciate especially a big parking place for bikes.
Service always very harsh. Not actually a customer friendly place. Serves as lukio gym and pool, so regular customers not wanted. Opens to public only in the evening.
Nice place. Newly renovated. But sometimes too crowded and priority given to professionals.
Very well equipped swimming hall with one 50m pool, kids area and jumping area. Steam, hot and mild sauna and a gym. Cafe is stuffed with sweets with some savory options too.
Facilities are nice and recently renovated. However the place is crazy overcrowded. The professional swimmers reserve most of the pool and casual swimmers are left with only one 50m lane for swimming. Additionally the loud generic gym music is playing all the time and in combination with screaming swimming instructors it makes the place incredibly noisy.
I like the sauna and the long pools, all very nice. But why is the therapy pool not ever better equipped?
No swimming shorts allowed, unlike in many other places. My belongings got stolen and the staff has no interest in looking into it.
