One of the finest links courses in the country, the run of holes between the 3rd and the 8th is the best continuous stretch of seaside holes I've ever played. Craig has the greens in great condition, I've never seen the place looking so healthy. As for the facilities- the shop is always well stocked and that new clubhouse will be fully open in the spring for the start of the season. What an asset that building is going to be to the club, it's a superb piece of design and construction.

Standing on the 1st Tee gets the old nerves trembling! This hole is reputedly the best opening hole in golf! This is a quality golf course with some memorable holes but tends to run out of steam on the back nine. Top quality tees, greens but bunkers looked a bit untidy and not as pristine as the rest of course. We played on a very windy day and made it a tough challenge of golf . The professional was friendly and very polite with a good selection of products on offer. I really enjoyed this course - the views, sound & smell of the sea was wonderful.
